Magicians Nephew  by C.S. Lewis is about two children, Polly and Digory who get caught in magic by Digory's uncle.On the way they meet Jadis the Queen. She is evil and wants all power to herself. Jadis causes a huge commotion in the real world. When Polly and Digory try to get her back in her own world, they end up in Narnia, where Aslan the Lion lives. Aslan is disappointed in Digory for bringing Jadis into Narnia. Aslan sent Digory on a quest to get an apple so he can keep evil away from Narnia. The tree is planted and Digory picks one of the apples from the magic tree, so he can heal his mother.
